Second, avoid eating foods that are hard, too hot, or too cold, to avoid further sensitivity and irritation. Eat soft foods, such as steamed vegetables, cheese, or eggs (soft-boiled or scrambled). Finally, when brushing, use a super soft toothbrush and brush gently. An antibacterial mouthwash can also ease soreness and pain. In addition, it helps to take measures to lessen the stress in your life, as stress can lead to tooth grinding or a lack of oral care.
